This book retraces the history of archeology in Lebanon, from the start of 19th century – when the so called archeologists were no other than few foreign diplomats and some art collectors – to our days. It is thanks to archeological foundations, scientists and renowned scholars that the National Museum is able to define and present us with details of a culture that spreads for more than 7000 years.
