Numismate orientaliste. – Diplômé de l’École des Chartes et de l’École des langues orientales

Spécialiste de l’histoire, de la numismatique, de l’histoire des civilisations de l’Arménie et de la Cilicie arménienne. Il est auteur d’une trentaine d’ouvrages, dont deux volumes de traductions des premiers historiens arméniens.

Ce n’est pas Charles-Victor Langlois (1863-1929), historien, spécialiste du Moyen âge.
